What's the POV?

Understanding Point of View (or POV) allows the reader to grasp the overall plot of a story.

To master this concept, we have been reviewing it various ways. One activity was a group "round robin" experience as shown in the pictures below. At each poster, there was a picture and sections to explain each type of POV. Groups moved from poster to poster every 5 minutes to ensure they were focused and challenged! The next day, the groups revised and edited each poster. Check out our class in action:
